The Spring
and Autumn
Nettie Bozanich
It’s the living
and the dying,
all caught up in cycles
we think we can break
or change or mold to fit
ourselves.
Who’s it all about?
Is it about us? About our
survival?
About our living? About our happiness?
Lay it all down and we will
find
ourselves – our
true selves,
glowing and growing in the
edges of light and divine
mystery.
It’s the grace of
this moment,
the mercy of this era,
the dying, the living,
the breathing again.
It’s the
possibility, the truth,
the poverty of wealth,
the wealth of poverty,
the acceptance, the
withering,
the blooming, the joy.
It’s the seasons
of this life,
the seasons of His plan,
the seasons of loss,
the seasons of glorious
revival,
welcoming Spring again,
welcoming Autumn again.
